Abstract

INTRODUCTION

Doxazosin is a selective long-acting a1-adrenergic antagonist. It is indicated for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia and stage I and II (mild to moderate) essential hypertension.1 A MEDLINE search revealed no previous reports of leukopenia associated with the use of doxazosin.
