Sincere Thanks to Rebekah Moles and a Warm Welcome to Jonathan Penm, CJHP’s Newest Associate Editor

Rebekah Moles, Associate Professor with the School of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine and Health, at the University of Sydney, served as an associate editor to the Canadian Journal of Hospital Pharmacy (CJHP) from 2013 until stepping down from her role in 2021. During her time with the Journal, she helped launch several highly regarded series, such as CJHP’s Research Primer from 2014–2015, the International Perspectives on Pharmacy Practice from 2015–2018, and the Advanced Pharmacist Practitioner from 2019–2021. Rebekah has been a key player in expanding the Journal’s scope beyond Canada, helping it become an internationally respected publication. CSHP and the Editorial Board greatly appreciate Rebekah’s dedication to the CJHP and wish her all the best.

Jonathan Penm, Senior Lecturer with the School of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine and Health, at the University of Sydney has joined the CJHP Editorial Board as an associate editor. He is well acquainted with the Journal having contributed as an author and peer reviewer. Jonathan brings a wealth of knowledge in the areas of improving hospital pharmacy services and the use of high-risk medicines, such as antimicrobials and opioid medications, in the hospital setting. He is interested in health service research that focuses on developing and implementing evidence informed strategies and system-level interventions (e.g., education, policy, technology) to improve the use of medicines and minimize medication-related harms. CSHP and the CJHP Editorial Board are thrilled to welcome Jonathan to the team.
